Ready to Race - MTX4R

Hey All,

Well its Finally Finished and have had a few tanks through the NEW OS TZ .12 P3 - the run-in procedure went well and still runnin g the engine a tab rich as i havent test on a full size track due to bad weather since its WINTER!

I opped for a simple Virgin white paint scheme - and YES a PINK wing for the little bit of added colour. Hopefully in the up-coming weeks i will show some video footage and post some race results but for now i just have a few photos below of the final product.

Peace Out
Frankie

Mugen MTX4R Build Up Stage 1

This where it all happens in my little RC Studio... its pretty neat and holds a fair bit of products. All i need now is some pin up girls on the walls and i am done LOL

Clutch assembled thou had to re-do due to binding issues. The reason was the standard collect was a bit too long and the flywheel did not sit lower towards the engine.

Thrust bearings installed, please make sure you add some bearing grease here.

Pinions added, flywheel on, and clutch shoes inserted.

Clutch shoe standard fitted, also shim added for clearance.

Mugen Mtx4r - Looking almost ready, just got a few things to do such as install transponder, neaten the wiring and setup a setup for the car with new tyres and yes new body paint scheme.

Finall got the OS TZ .12 P3 installed soon to be running, car taking shape as we can see in this photo.

Engine in, Filter on, always remember to pre-lube the filter before use to keep the dust away. Filter was supplied via the MTX4R in the kit. Thank you Mugen

Using a Twister tires & ATS tires with (0) Offset

Here is the OS TZ .12 P3 Race Port - Also installed is the engine mounts supplied via the MTX4R kit. Remember to do up the bolts tight with the included spring washers.

Opened the OS TZ .12 last night and just gave it a bit of an inspection all loogs great and in brand new ready to burn form - LOL

Picture view of the carby close up shot. Plastic venturi fairly standard.

The boxed OS TZ .12 P3 - its xmas time again.

Novarrossi 2601 with 5 fin conical with mild porting on the inside of the manifold for better flow.

The rear end complete with shock installed to car.

Mugen MTX4R shocks - i strongly believe are the best on the market. Very well designed.

Battery plate fitted smart design easy to access.

Some electrical tape to hold the battery in place.

Side belt pulley tenssioner and notice the nice Mugen label on the belt.

Keep note, that after this install, i had to add more spaces on the servo braket, and did dremel some plastic away for best clearance.
